City Series: Budgeting for Infrastructure Needs

Please join TCOG on Tuesday, November 15 for our upcoming City Series Workshop entitled: Budgeting for Infrastructure Needs presented by Mr. Greg Peters, P.E., Director of Public Works for the City of Anna.

The Workshop will be held in the Eisenhower Room at TCOG, 1117 Gallagher Dr., Sherman from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This is a great opportunity for practical, hands-on skills building about relevant topics in management and development, plus a chance to connect and collaborate with your peers on common challenges. Coffee and pastries will be provided for all guests.

About the Presenter

Greg Peters has been the Director of Public Works with the City of Anna since 2019.  Prior to Anna, he was the Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Sachse.  He was also a Project Manager and Project Engineer at Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers.   His education includes MS and BS degrees in Architecture, as well as a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.  He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.  Greg thrives on the design challenges and creativity it takes to help solve citizens’ needs, making him a top Project Manager.  Greg’s architectural background offers a unique perspective on his project approach, which makes him an incredible asset to a project’s success.   Greg currently serves as a North Texas Groundwater Conservation Board Member.  He was the TSPE Preston Trail Chapter Young Engineer of the Year and TSPE Preston Trail Chapter President.
