    In an effort to hold more frequent events and reduce wait time, we have moved to an appointment-based schedule. Please select an appointment time and list what items you will be bringing. Be sure to read the restrictions carefully; we will only accept limited quantities.
    Household quantities ONLY. No commercial quantities and no agricultural products accepted.

    Please arrive on time but no more than ten (10) minutes early.

    If everyone arrives on time, no one will have to wait more than 10-15 minutes maximum.

    Transport materials safely.

    Special handling, storage and safe disposal are required if one or more of the following words are listed on the bottle/container: caution, combustible, corrosive, danger, explosive, flammable, harmful if swallowed, irritant, poison, reactive, toxic, volatile or warning.

    You will not be allowed to get out of your car.
    Only our certified HHW professionals will be allowed to unload vehicles. We will have separate stations for HHW, electronics, and latex paint.

    Accepted Items

    We will accept limited amounts of:
    • Batteries (household, marine or auto) *Please separate rechargeable (cell phone, lithium, other rechargeable) & single-use (single-use AA, AAA, C, D, etc), and put in separate plastic bags
    • Sprays
    • Aerosols
    • Cleaners
    • Sealers
    • Solvents
    • Gasoline
    • Used Motor Oil/Filters (May also be disposed of at Walmart auto centers)
    • Antifreeze
    • Insecticides
    • Pesticides
    • Weed killer
    • Fluorescent lights (no more than ten (10) tubes. May also be disposed of at Lowes or Batteries Plus Bulbs stores)
    • Oil-based paint
    • Degreasers
    • Pool chemicals
    • Household chemicals

    Electronics & E-Waste

    • Electronics and many of their components are recyclable. Keystone Enterprises will be onsite to accept desktop computers, laptops, printers (inkjet or laser), tablets, phones, servers, routers, switches, hubs, UPS backups, racks & cabling, monitors (flat only), toasters, coffee makers, microwaves, blenders, car batteries, TVs (flat only – no tube TVs or monitors), radios, CD/DVD players, washers & dryers (working or not). You can also find Keystone Enterprises year-round at 201 E. 1st Street in Bonham or (903) 640-4928.
    • You may also contact your city for the next scheduled e-waste collection event.

    Latex Paint

    • Latex paint is recyclable. We will accept UP TO TEN (10) GALLONS of latex paint per household/per appointment for free. Any condition but cans must be closed and sealed (no leaking), no open containers, no rusted-out lids, and must be in original paint containers (no glass jars, Tupperware, or other non-paint containers).

    Tires

    • We will not be accepting tires in Bonham. If you have tires to dispose of, please contact your county commissioner for options..

    Restricted Items

    • No explosive materials accepted. No ammunition, compressed gas cylinders, commercial quantities, drums, or agricultural waste or products.
    • No sharps or medical waste. No RX prescription drugs or medicines accepted. Most Walgreens, CVS Pharmacies, and police departments accept RX drugs. You may need to call first.
    • No smoke detectors accepted. Smoke detectors have small amounts of radioactive materials. Contact the smoke detector manufacturer for disposal options.
    • No commercial quantities accepted. Household products only.
